Located just 40 minutes drive West of Faro in the Algarve, Vale d'el Rei is a very high quality, exclusive resort of village houses and suites situated in a quiet rural position between Carvoeiro and the beautiful beach at Marinha. Guests have the choice between spacious, luxury double suites or standard double rooms within the hotel or secluded, two bedroom village houses with their own private terrace and garden within the grounds. |
The small hotel has 15 luxuriously appointed suites and stands within large well landscaped grounds surrounded by vineyards. Each suite has a king size bedroom, full bathroom, a separate sitting room with mini bar, large flat screen, satellite television, safe, telephone and internet access and large balcony. In addition there are 39 double bedrooms, identical to the suites with exception of the separate sitting room.
Standing within the hotel grounds yet with their own privacy are 22 two bedroom village houses. Each village house is fully air conditioned and double glazed and comprises 2 en suite bedrooms each with their own balcony, a ground floor cloakroom, a spacious sitting/dining room with satellite television, fully equipped kitchen and private terrace with a well landscaped and screened garden.
Facilities at Vale d'el Rei include 3 outdoor pools including one for children and one heated, a superb Day Spa, tennis court, children's playground and kid's club (July and August), extensive landscaped gardens with walking path and pond, Serenata Restaurant, Pool Terrace Restaurant serving lighter meals and Calabash Cocktail Bar. There is a courtesy bus service to Marinha Beach or into Carvoeiro and Lagoa.
