Situated in the historic heart of Singapore, just 20 minutes from the airport, the impressive Raffles Shopping Plaza lies just across the street together with an MRT (rapid transit) station. Most of the historic sites are however within walking distance.
The essence of Raffles lies in its 103 suites which are located within the 4 wings of the hotel and are surrounded by the exotic, fragrant gardens. Connected by wide, breezy verandah style corridors overlooking the gardens, residents are pampered in an atmosphere of privacy and intimacy. Inspired by colonial bungalows of the early 20th century, the spacious suites with lofty 14 ft ceilings are all fitted with fine Oriental carpets, original etchings and traditional dark wood furniture. The suites are approached from the verandah where you can sit out and enjoy the view over the gardens. Each suite has its own private sitting room through which you enter the bedroom and en suite luxury bathroom.
