Standing in a courtyard with farm buildings to the left and an enclosed garden in front, the house is comfortably furnished. The rooms have high ceilings in keeping with the style of the period, with an open fireplace in the living room. There are bikes available for use and in the garden there are swings, football goals, table tennis, and volleyball. St Jean de Savigny (200m) has a bistro restaurant and the nearest shops are at St Clair sur Elle (3 kms). St Lo is a good shopping centre with a wide range of activities, including a waterpark and equestrian centre. The best local beach is at Vierville (22 kms), which is part of the famous Omaha beach. |
