Outside, a terrace and stone stairway leads down to the walled garden where the pool (shared with 3 other apartments) and a built in barbecue can be found. St Mathieu de Treviers (500m) has all the shops you will need for everyday items and Montpellier, with its historic centre, is a short drive away. For oyster lovers, there are 'Parc à Huitres' (oyster farms) along the coast from Balaruc-les-Bains to Meze. Those preferring water sports and beaches should head for La Grande-Motte to the east or Le Cap d'Agde to the west. |
