This Algarve villa was built around an old carob tree which now shades part of the terrace. Casa Carob benefits from a private, elevated plot of approximately one acre with beautiful views over vineyards and undulating countryside to the Algarve coast.
This is a Carvoeiro villa but located in the rural outskirts. The villa approach is along a quiet country lane, double gates open onto a gravel driveway leading to a single car port and a parking area for several cars. The villa is finished in marble throughout and the spacious, attractively furnished sitting/dining room has a built in bar, wood burning stove, satellite television (freeeview channels) and CD player/radio. A door from the dining area opens to a large, well equipped kitchen with black marble work surfaces and light wooden cupboards. The equipment includes a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher and an electric ceramic hob and oven. All the main bedrooms have modern en suite facilities and air conditioning (additional charge). The spacious upstairs master suite is approached through a fourth bedroom with 2 single beds, which can be ideal for children.
A large, secluded sun terrace on the first floor of the villa benefits from wide views to the sea and steps lead down to the pool, terrace and barbeque.
There are good opportunities for leisurely country walks from Casa Carob and half an hour brings you easily to the unspoilt fishing village of Benagil with its choice of excellent fish restaurants and a pretty sandy cove. There is a local cafe within a 10 minute walk and the livelier centre of Carvoeiro with its wide choice of small shops and restaurants is only 5 minutes drive away. For golfers, the excellent Gramacho and Pinta courses in the Algarve are within a 10 minute drive. |

(Villa priced for 6, for 8 persons add 10%) 1 bathroom, 2 shower rooms (all en-suite). Sitting/dining room opens to secluded terrace with barbecue. |
