We have been letting villas in The Algarve since 1984 and know the area well. Our sister company, Grainger Properties, is based in the Algarve and has responsibility for the management and day to day running of many of the villas we offer particularly in Carvoeiro and the surrounding areas. Our high level of involvement with the villas and knowledge of the region ensures that we are well qualified to offer advice and guidance. We aim to ensure that the villa and location you choose has all that is needed to make your family holiday an enjoyable and relaxing experience.
Recently we have been pleased to add villas and apartments in the Lisbon area to our portfolio. Located close to the Medieval walled town of Obidos, this area is approximately 45 minutes drive north of Lisbon.
To quickly view the properties we offer in a particular region of Portugal, use the Availability button on the left. Travelling on a Thursday will always give you the widest choice of villas.

Algarve Accommodation |
THE MAIN CHANGEOVER DAY IN THE ALGARVE IS THURSDAY, however some of our villas are also available from Friday or Saturday and outside of the Peak Season we can be more flexible. If you wish to travel on another day of the week please call - we may well be able to help.
Our detached villas all have private swimming pool and barbecue facilities, apartments and townhouses will normally have communal pools. Most of the villas are privately owned and furnished according to the taste of the individual owner. Each property is fully equipped for the number of persons indicated including all linens and towels (not beach or pool towels). Maid service is normally provided 3 or 5 days per week and some apartments, once per week. Our own staff or other representatives are always available to ensure that you have a trouble-free holiday and in most areas this includes 24 hour emergency call-out arrangements. |

|
| Unless otherwise specified, children of all ages are welcome and cots and highchairs can be made available by prior arrangement. In some villas, one extra child under the age of 12, can be accommodated at an extra charge and a Z bed or sofa bed will be made available. To cater for the school holidays we can often be flexible with arrival dates in October and at Easter. |
| |
Arrival and Departure Times |
 |
| To allow sufficient time for the maids to prepare the villas, we ask that you do not arrive before 1400 hours and that you vacate the villa by 1000 hours on the day of your departure. |

Equipment |
| The villa descriptions normally highlight items such as televisions and dishwashers if they are available. Please note that most televisions will have limited english channels and will not normally include the sports channels. Washing machines are available either in the villa or the maid's room and can usually be used by prior arrangement with the maid. There is an additional charge for pool heating or air conditioning when available and this should be booked and paid for in advance. Please note that pool heating has to be switched on up to 4 days before arrival for it to be effective. Pool heating is not necessary during the months of July and August. |

 |
Pricing
In most cases we act as booking agents directly for the owners of the villa thereby ensuring that you get the best possible value. Our accommodation is priced for the whole of the villa per week (up to the normal occupancy). Pool heating and air conditioning are usually an additional charge. A car is required at most of our properties and we offer competitive car hire prices with established on-airport operators in Faro and Lisbon. |

Getting Around in Portugal |
We can arrange for you to pick up your car at your arrival airport and provide you with easy to follow directions to the villa. If it suits you better we can organise a minibus or taxi transfer from the airport to your villa and arrange for the hire car to be delivered later in the day or the next day, depending on your arrival time. The airport at Faro is approximately 40 minutes drive from our properties in the Carvoeiro area and you should allow a further 15 minutes if you are continuing on to Lagos. If you are flying to Lisbon allow around 2 and half hours to drive to the Algarve.

Sightseeing |
 |
The roads in Portugal have improved considerably over the last few years making day trips to Seville, the Alentejo and the Costa Vicentina National Park on the South West Coast easily accessible from the Algarve. When staying in the Lisbon area, a trip to the charming and historic old town of Evora or the picturesque hillside town of Sintra are both within an hour's drive.
Why not combine a sightseeing trip with a night in one of Portugal's luxury Pousadas - historic buildings converted into luxury hotels. Call us if you would like more information. |
