Flights

We hold an Air Travel Organisers' Licence issued by The Civil Aviation Authority (ATOL 5502) and will arrange your flights from the UK airport of your choice. When you call to check availability of the accommodation we will provide you with information on the availabilty, times and prices of flights from the airports most convenient to you. We can also make arrangements for car parking or overnight accommodation at your departure airport.

Children under 16 years of age (including infants) are now required to have their own passport. Children already included in their parents' passport will not be affected by the change and can continue to travel on these documents until they reach the age of sixteen or until the passport is changed or expires.

Travel to the Portugal
We can book either scheduled or charter flights into Faro or Lisbon. Faro Airport is within an hour's drive of most of the properties we feature and it takes approximately two hours from Lisbon Airport.

If you plan to drive to Portugal we will be pleased to make your ferry bookings to Bilbao, Santander or the Channel ports at preferential rates. In our experience it is best to allow 10 to 12 hours "on the road" time from the Spanish ports and 24 hours from the Channel.

A valid passport is required for entry into Portugal. No Visa is required for holders of British Citizens passports.

Travel to the Azores
There is a flight from London Gatwick and Manchester to Ponte Delgada in Sao Miguel every Saturday. The flight time is approximately three and a half hours. Alternatively, there are daily flights to Lisbon with connecting flights to all the islands.

Travel to France
We are agents for the major cross-channel ferry companies and for Eurotunnel. We are able to offer you a wide choice of routes and sailing times. Outward and return crossings may be made by different routes but must nprmally be with the same company.

Please ensure that you arrive at your port in good time as advised by the ferry company, and remember that sailing departures are given in local time. The most popular ferry crossings do get booked up very early in the year, especially for bank/school holiday weekends. It is always helpful if you can advise us of your 2nd choice in case your preferred crossing is full.
