| Booking Information - France |
Our holidays to France are sold on an accommodation-only basis with ferry crossings and other travel arrangements treated as a separate item.
We will confirm your accommodation by email or phone and you should then visit our Ferries page to book your Short Channel crossing or Eurotunnel service.
If you want to travel on the Western Channel routes from Portsmouth, Poole or Plymouth please call to discuss your requirements and take advantage of the preferential rates we can offer on these routes. |

| Terms and Conditions |
| Before authorising us to charge your credit card or sending a cheque, you must read our Terms and Conditions (click on link at top of this page) which set out our respective rights and obligations. |

| Arrival times |
| Unless otherwise shown in the price list notes the rental periods commence on Saturdays. You should arrive at the property between 1600 & 1800hrs and vacate by 1000hrs on your day of departure. |

| To book your accommodation |
Some properties are available to book on line. Alternatively, call us on 01425 484433 to check the availability of the property you have selected. If it is available you can make a firm booking with a credit/debit card or a provisional booking which we will hold for a maximium of 4 days awaiting the arrival of your deposit cheque.
The period we hold the booking awaiting payment will be reduced to 2 days for bookings made within 4 weeks of the date of travel. All bookings made within 7 days of the date of travel must be paid for by credit or debit card. |

| Deposits |
| The amount required with your booking form is 20% of the full amount including any ferry crossings. The balance becomes due 8 weeks before you travel |

| Confirmation |
| On receipt of your deposit, we will send you confirmation of your booking. You will be asked to sign a copy of the confirmation and return it to us. |

| Extra costs In France |
With most of our properties the only additional cost you will encounter is for the use of electricity or gas above the level included in the price, which will be confirmed at the time of booking. There will also be a charge for cleaning in most cases if you do not do this yourself. However, If you do not wish to clean the property before you leave you must inform us in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made in good time.
Taxe de sejour is a tourist tax collected locally in France and some of our owners will ask you for this. The rates vary from 0.45 Euros to 0.76 Euros per person per day.
You will also be asked to leave a security deposit. |

| Credit cards |
| We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro however in order to maintain our prices we are obliged to make a charge of 2% for credit card payments. There is no charge for MAESTRO, DELTA or other debit cards. |

| Property insurance |
| If whilst you are staying in the property there is accidental damage such as a fire being caused by one of your party then you will find that the owner's insurance company will pursue you for recompense. It is therefore strongly reccomended that you have personal liability insurance which includes cover for major accidental loss or damage to rented accommodation. |

| Passports and Visas |
| A valid passport is required for entry into France. No visa is required for holders of British Citizens passports. |
